2. Outside The Box

While walking the golf cart path early this morning, at a distance I noticed something quite unusual hanging from the moss draped trees. As I got closer, much to my surprise it was a pair of golf shoes. I’ve often heard of people being so frustrated that they throw their clubs in the water but never have I heard of throwing your shoes over a tree limb. Obviously, he wasn’t having a very good game. His shoes were outside the [tee] boxes for the rest of his game!

A true Southerner, I was born in Georgia but lived most of my adult life in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 2001, my husband and I retired and moved to beautiful Sarasota, FL. We quickly realized that we were not retirement material and could not play golf two or three times a week so we got our real estate licenses and affiliated with Coldwell Banker on Longboat Key. My love for photography is very beneficial to me when photographing interiors and exteriors of the homes we list. Other than photography, I have a keen interest in genealogy and golf (whenever I can find the spare time from our real estate practice).

  1. How funny. I have seen sneakers over power lines but never golf shoes.

  3. Too cute. Talk about having a bad game. Now all his games will be bad if he doesn’t have any shoes. šŸ™‚

  5. Its either out of frustration or now we have gangs of golfers marking their territory! I have heard that the shoes over power lines are markers for gang territories. So funny.
