Week 39 – #9. Drops of Water

Definition of Fog: (noun) many small drops of water floating in the air above the ground, the sea, etc.

I feel fortunate to be able to call both Florida and Tennessee home. When I depart Florida for my Tennessee home, I can’t help but feel somewhat sad to leave the beautiful beaches and weather behind. When I reach my home in Tennessee, however, I am always happy when I look out my window and see the beautiful mountains and river, no matter what the weather is like. On this particular day, I stood on the deck and watched the boats as they made their way up and down the river as the heavy fog dissipated and it made me realize how much beauty is in the world.

A true Southerner, I was born in Georgia but lived most of my adult life in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 2001, my husband and I retired and moved to beautiful Sarasota, FL. We quickly realized that we were not retirement material and could not play golf two or three times a week so we got our real estate licenses and affiliated with Coldwell Banker on Longboat Key. My love for photography is very beneficial to me when photographing interiors and exteriors of the homes we list. Other than photography, I have a keen interest in genealogy and golf (whenever I can find the spare time from our real estate practice).

    • Yes, Donna, it is indeed the Tennessee River that flows through Chattanooga. I hope you enjoyed your riverboat cruise. The next time you cruise by, be sure to throw up your hand and give me a big wave..
