Week 36 – #37. Rows And Rows Of …

A few weeks ago, I visited the Historical Village of Manatee County. When I went into this little church, I was reminded of the church I attended as a child and in which I got married. The rows and rows of church pews look almost identical to the ones in my church.

Week 46 – #4. Architecture

I am always attracted to architecture whenever I am away on a trip. Especially in New York, where the old churches and cathedrals are plentiful, I oftentimes find myself wandering inside where I stand in amazement absorbing the detail. I can’t recall exactly where in New York this photo was taken. Although very colorful, I liked how it changed the mood when I turned it into a black and white.

Week 32 – #40. Shot In HDR

Trinity Church, at 79 Broadway in lower Manhattan, is a historic, active, well-endowed parish church in the Episcopal Diocese of New York. Trinity Church is near the intersection of Wall Street and Broadway, in New York City. Located across from the World Trade Center, the parish of Trinity Church has quite a history, which can be read here. In 2001 when the twin towers were attacked, it was a place of refuge from the smoke and falling debris of the first tower. This photo was shot in HDR to bring out the details. DSC_6772L
