Today is the 31st of July and my last post in this year’s 52-Week Photo Challenge. I thought it only appropriate to post the four “letters” which to me comprise the most beautiful word in the English language…l-o-v-e. This display caught my attention as I was strolling through ABC Carpet and Home store in New York.

Week 51 – #14. Enclosed
I grew up in the country and I guess the wide open spaces will always be with me. To me, there is nothing more peaceful and beautiful than driving down back roads and seeing the farm animals “enclosed” by wood fences and grazing in the pastures.
Week 50 – #19. Homemade
This week is dedicated to my husband, who has worked very hard this week in our real estate business. Although I have also been working hard, he has gone over and beyond what has been expected of him to make sure our clients are happy and our closings happen without any bumps along the way. Because of his dedication to our real estate business, I surprised him with one of his favorite desserts … a “homemade” lemon pie.
Week 49 – #22. Laundry
While doing the “laundry” today, it dawned on me that I need to get busy and take a few more photos in order to complete the photo challenge this year. For those who wonder if I remembered to place my camera safely back in my camera bag, the answer is, “yes.”
Week 48 – #A3. Nature
One of my favorite things to do is drive along the backroads and admire “nature” surrounding me. On this day in June, Mike and I drove the side roads crossing Fruitville Road in Sarasota for the sole purpose of looking for acreage for a client. I could not resist pulling off to the side to take this photo.
Week 47 – #2. A Worm’s View
Hopefully there are no worms crawling around on the tee boxes in our community but if there were, this would be “a worm’s view” as the golfer prepared himself for his tee shot.
