As the photo reflected in last week’s post, I went to the Brooksville Civil War Reenactment with two fellow photographers and captured a selfie as I was photographing the soldiers’ campsite.

Week 26 – #36. Right Place At The Right Time
While attending the Brooksville Civil War Reenactment in Brooksville, FL, I was at the right place at the right time when I took this photo of the Union infantry firing upon the Confederate soldiers. I was especially happy to have captured the gun fire.
Week 25 – #7. Car Lights
I had a great time practicing long exposure while recently in downtown Sarasota. It’s so amazing how a slow shutter speed adds so much interest to photos, especially the streaking of clouds and car lights passing by.
Week 24 – #32. Painting With Light
There are many beautiful places to photograph in Sarasota and I cannot select one place over another. One that I especially love, however, is downtown at Island Park along Sarasota Bay. There is always activity such as children playing, people walking their dogs, sweethearts strolling hand in hand and much more. While enjoying a pleasant evening recently, I decided to practice painting with light and found the grasses by the Bay gently swaying in the breeze to be the ideal subject. 
Week 23 – #27. Musical
I consider myself very lucky to catch a glimpse of musical Santa relaxing at the piano following a busy Christmas Eve of delivering toys to all children in the world. The reindeers and elves apparently had already called it a night. I can’t let this day pass without a big high five and a huge thank you, Santa, for my new camera!
